This restaurant serves homemade furled tassels of spaghetti, smoky pancetta carbonara and anchovy and chilli pest. This is one of those little eateries that make you wish you were born Italian so that you could sample the dishes every day.
3. Bar Paradiso
Located on Greeves Street, this restaurant is famous for its breakfast consisting of frittata, eggs and sausage; a lunch that comprises of Palermo burger and a dinner menu that reads like a fairy tale consisting of brioche bun is stacked high with slow-braised meat - at the moment, lamb - topped with warm ricotta and finished with traditional chickpea fritters.
4. Kaprica
Broccoli pizza with green florettes, salmone pizza, and artisan pizzeria are some of the dishes that you will choose to eat at Kaprica. The restaurant is located on the 19 Lincoln Square South, Carlton. Trust me; a visit to this restaurant will not be a waste of time.
5. DOC Albert Park
Although a mainly pizza joint, the mozzarella bar is what keeps the diners happy in this restaurant. The mozzarella here is made from buffalo milk. It is usually accompanied by a platter of salami which includes prosciutto di san daniele, bresaola and mortadella.
Melbourne will not be as exciting a tourist destination without its dining experience. The Italian eateries in this city have gone out of their way to make Melbourne's dining circles a little Italy. Hopefully, you will visit one of these restaurants before the end of your tour here.
